Course Overview Print

Cloud operations span more than spinning up resources—they require planning, automation, and troubleshooting across hybrid and multicloud environments. This course builds practical cloud administration skills aligned with the full lifecycle of infrastructure deployment. Participants will gain experience in designing, managing, securing, and supporting cloud environments while addressing performance, availability, and business continuity.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Analyse and design secure cloud architecture and deployment plans.

  • Administer virtual resources, networks, storage, and access controls.

  • Implement automation, backup, and disaster recovery processes.

  • Troubleshoot cloud issues related to performance, security, and connectivity.

Key Topics:

  • Cloud architecture, deployment models, and service design

  • Resource provisioning, network administration, and storage

  • Security configuration and vulnerability response

  • Automation, orchestration, and operational support

  • Backup, recovery, and high availability strategies

  • Certification preparation for CompTIA Cloud+ certification

Exam Details

This course is designed to build participants’ understanding of key concepts and domains covered in the CompTIA Cloud+ certification.

CompTIA Cloud+ certification validates technical skills required to deploy, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure services across various platforms. It is the only performance-based certification that considers cloud systems in the context of broader IT operations. The certification is also approved for DoD 8570.01-M, supporting IAM Level I, CSSP Analyst, and CSSP Infrastructure Support roles.

To maximise success, participants are strongly encouraged to complement the course with additional self-study, revision of course materials, and dedicated practice before attempting the exam.
