Cloud infrastructure is not just about connectivity—it is about performance, security, and seamless operations. This course builds deep expertise in implementing Cisco-based data centre technologies across networking, compute, storage, and automation. Participants will gain practical experience deploying and operating core infrastructure using Cisco UCS, Nexus, MDS, and related platforms.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Implement data centre routing, switching, and overlay protocols

  • Configure secure LAN and SAN infrastructure

  • Deploy Cisco UCS B-Series and C-Series servers with abstraction and templates

  • Apply Fibre Channel, FCoE, and virtualisation concepts

  • Implement monitoring, scripting, and automation workflows

Key Topics:

  • Cisco Nexus switching and overlay protocols (VXLAN, OTV)

  • SAN technologies: Fibre Channel, VSANs, zoning, and FCoE

  • Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect and server abstraction

  • Cisco HyperFlex architecture and unified compute

  • Infrastructure monitoring, security, and automation tools

Exam Details

This course is designed to build participants’ understanding of key concepts and competencies aligned with the Implementing Cisco Data Center Core Technologies (350-601 DCCOR) certification.

The certification supports the Cisco® CCNP® Data Center and CCIE® Data Center credentials. It validates skills in implementing core data center technologies such as LAN and SAN infrastructure, network security, automation, and compute management using Cisco UCS and Nexus platforms.

Participants will gain experience in deploying, securing, and operating Cisco MDS Switches, Cisco Nexus Switches, and Cisco Unified Computing System™ (UCS®) B-Series and C-Series servers. The course also addresses automation, monitoring, Fibre Channel, and FCoE.

To maximise success, participants are strongly encouraged to complement the course with additional self-study, revision of course materials, and dedicated practice before attempting the exam.
