Policy-based networking transforms how modern data centres are built and scaled. This course teaches participants how to implement and manage Cisco ACI environments using Nexus 9000 Series switches. They will configure fabric, external connectivity, service graphs, and virtualisation integrations through hands-on labs.
Learning Outcomes:
Deploy and manage Cisco ACI fabric and logical constructs
Configure Layer 2/3 external connectivity and contracts
Integrate ACI with VMware vCenter and other VMMs
Implement L4–L7 service graphs and policy-based routing
Administer fabric upgrades, monitoring, and user roles
Key Topics:
ACI logical model: tenants, EPGs, contracts, bridge domains
External network and service integration
VMware vCenter and virtual switch integration
Service graph workflows and policy-based routing
Cisco APIC management and operational tools
Exam Details
This course is designed to build participants’ understanding of key concepts and domains covered in the Implementing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (300-620 DCACI) certification.
The 300-620 DCACI exam is part of the requirements for the Cisco® CCNP® Data Center and Cisco Certified Specialist – Data Center ACI Implementation certifications. It validates knowledge of Cisco ACI fundamentals, fabric discovery, policies, connectivity, and Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) integration.
Participants will gain hands-on experience configuring and managing Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches in ACI mode, including external network and service integration and troubleshooting ACI environments.
To maximise success, participants are strongly encouraged to complement the course with additional self-study, revision of course materials, and dedicated practice before attempting the exam.
