Designing cloud architecture demands more than understanding AWS services. It involves making strategic choices that align with scalability, availability, and security goals. This course enables participants to design robust systems using the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Through instructor-led sessions and practical labs, they will evaluate business needs and build effective architectures using core AWS services.
Learning Outcomes:
Understand foundational AWS architecting practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Identify strategies for account security, networking, compute, storage, and database design.
Apply architectural design principles to build multi-tier applications in AWS.
Evaluate and implement monitoring, scaling, automation, and container solutions.
Analyse edge services, serverless architecture, and hybrid networking models.
Design backup and recovery strategies that ensure business continuity.
Key Topics:
Core AWS architectural principles and best practices
Account security, VPC design, and hybrid connectivity
Compute options and autoscaling strategies
Storage types, lifecycle policies, and performance tuning
Database services and workload optimisation
Monitoring, load balancing, and infrastructure automation
Serverless design and container orchestration
