The USVF-C001 Certified USV Operator Foundation Course provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) operations and autonomous maritime systems. The course covers a general overview of USV systems, key differences between unmanned and conventional manned vessel operations, fundamental concepts behind Collision Detection and Collision Avoidance (CDCA) algorithms, operator response to alarms, contingencies, and exception-handling scenarios. Participants will also be familiarized with ST Engineering's Cepharion navigational autonomy solution and its operational workflows.

In addition to classroom theory, the course includes hands-on practical exposure to USV operations under the guidance of experienced instructors.
